Bitmap tile

One small bitmap in the RDP cache, typically 64×64 pixels, holding a piece of the remote screen with a key and size but no position or timestamp.

A bitmap tile is a single entry of the RDP bitmap cache: a small rectangle of what the remote screen displayed. Tiles are typically 64×64 pixels; tiles at the right or bottom edge of a region can be smaller.

Each tile is stored with a 64-bit cache key, a width and a height. It has no screen coordinates, no timestamp and no session identifier, and identical pieces are cached only once. Turning tiles back into screens is manual work, described in reconstructing RDP screens from cache tiles.
