bmc-tools
ANSSI's open-source Python parser for the RDP bitmap cache, the reference decoder for bcache*.bmc and Cache*.bin files.
bmc-tools is a Python script published by ANSSI, the French national cybersecurity agency, under the CeCILL 2.1 licence. It decodes bcache*.bmc and Cache*.bin files and exports each tile as <file>_<NNNN>.bmp, with options for a collage (-b, width -w, default 64 tiles per row), old slot data (-o) and KAPE-style output folders (-k). Tile decompression has been supported since version 3.00 (2022).
It is the reference implementation; RDP Bitmap Cache Parser uses its own, independently written decoder and was validated against it. See RDP cache parsers compared.
