Cache*.bin (RDP 8 persistent cache)
The Cache0000.bin, Cache0001.bin files written by newer Remote Desktop clients: an RDP8bmp header followed by uncompressed 32-bit tiles.
Cache0000.bin, Cache0001.bin and so on are the RDP 8 persistent bitmap cache files written by newer versions of the Remote Desktop client, in the same Terminal Server Client\Cache folder as the legacy .bmc files.
Each file starts with the magic RDP8bmp\0 and a 32-bit version. Tiles follow back to back: a 12-byte header (two key halves, width, height) and width × height × 4 bytes of pixels in B, G, R, X order, rows top-down, uncompressed. The layout is reverse-engineered, not documented by Microsoft. See the bcache*.bmc and Cache*.bin file format.
